Albie Morkel was promoted to No. 3 and responded with 97, sharing a stand of 186, a South
African record for the third wicket in one-day internationals, with de Villiers, whose second oneday
hundred came from 84 balls: in all he hit eight fours and six sixes. Zimbabwe were not
overawed by their big target, and were 231-3 in the 40th over. Taibu capped his return to the side
with his maiden one-day century, but was left with too much to do.
